You are standing on the balcony. If it rains you have probably tried to find a dry spot under the roof. If it does not rain I recommend you to stand by the rail. Stand totally still. Sometimes I think this town is piece of scenery. As if it wasn't true and you therefore can't accept it. Like when someone loves you. Do you feel the wind around your body? You might hear the seagulls' irritating voices. As if they were laughing at you. Take a deep breath through your nose. Smell the salty water. Maybe you hear the boats' sirens. The tourist chatter. And someone lighting a cigarette and the first inhale. There is a difference between hearing and listening.
